MBNA Declined to LOWER my limit

Unbelievable

I requested to MBNA that they LOWER my credit limit from 7000 to 2500 as I am tidying up my finances and lowering my available credit.

They sent me a text this morning saying the my request had been declined.

I only have 2250 balance on my card anyway

Balance transfer time i think bye bye MBNA

Get another cc transfer the balance or better still clear it.

Just been accepted for 13 months 0% with bank of scotland and requested a BT from MBNA for entire amount.

I have never like MBNA anyway

all sorted: Igf u have a 7k limit your credit must be pretty good so why worry as your file shows the actual balance so lenders no u have only exposed your self to 2k ish
