Terms & Conditions – Young Stylist Grand Prize Terms & Conditions – Weekly Prize Draw

• Terms & Conditions – Young Stylist Grand Prize
  
  1. Participants are restricted to residents of the UK and ROI, aged between 9 and 22 years old, excluding employees and their families of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
  
  2. Entrants under the age of 16 require the permission of a parent or guardian to participate and to accept a prize.
  
  3. There are 2 age groups for entry: 9-15 years and 16-21 years.
  
  4. By entering the competition you have the chance to win one of the following prizes: Main prize: the chance to style A New Look Runway Show in the Trafford Centre, Manchester; £500 New Look Gift voucher; a short course at the London College of Fashion [winner can select a course from the Summer 2010 Young Creative range of short courses] (only for those in the 16-21 age group); Nintendo DSi and Nintendo presents: Style Boutique for DS. Runner-up Prize: £500 New Look gift voucher; Nintendo DSi; Nintendo presents: Style Boutique for DS. There are 2 Main prizes (one per age group) and 2 runner-up prizes (one per age group).
  
  5. Entries will be judged based on the entrants eye for fashion demonstrated by their assembling of the available clothing items into one single outfit design.
  
  6. Entries will be judged by 1 representative each from Nintendo, New Look and The London College of Fashion.
  
  7. Each of the judges will pre-design their own outfit using the interactive tool and these outfits will be used as reference for outstanding entries.
  
  8. All user entries submitted that are similar to any of judges outfits will automatically be allocated to a shortlist which will then be reviewed by all judges on 20th November.
  
  9. The 3 judges will arrive at a decision on the best entries for each age group as well as a runner up for each age group.
  
  10. If the judges cannot agree on the winners based on the design submissions alone, they will review the relevant entrants ‘tiebreaker’ answer which is the user’s description of their outfit in 160 words or less.
  
  11. All entries will be divided into 2 groups based on age, those between 9 and 15 and those between 16 and 21. Users outside of that are group will not be eligible for the major prizes but may submit their design to the public gallery and enter the weekly free prize draw.
  
  12. There is no limit to the amount of entries per person, using a common set of registration details.
  
  13. Promotion will close at midnight on 19th November 2009.
  
  14. Winner’s will be notified by Friday 20th November by phone. If the selected winner does not respond to contact made by the Promoter by midday on Monday 23rd November that person's claim to the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a substitute winner.
  
  15. No cash or other alternative prizes are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
  
  16. To obtain the names and counties of the prizewinners please send a pre-paid self-addressed envelope to: BD-Network, Style Boutique Online Prize Draw, Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6PQ.
  
  17. Main prize winners and their parent or guardian must be available on 27th and 28th November and be prepared to stay overnight. The fashion show will take place in Manchester. All travel expenses to and from venues and hotel accommodation on 27th November will be paid for.
  
  18. Winners consent to participate in publicity for and on behalf of the Promoter if so required.

  1. The prize draw is open to UK and ROI residents only, except employees and their families of the Promoter, its affiliated companies and agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. There is no age restriction on this promotion.
  
  2. Those under the age of 16 require the permission of a parent or guardian to participate and accept a prize.
  
  3. There is no limit to the amount of entries.
  
  4. To enter, submit an outfit to the online gallery via youngstylist co uk
  
  5. There is a weekly draw, one per week for 8 weeks.
  
  6. The entries will be drawn at random under independent supervision every Monday, the last draw date will be Monday 23rd November. Last date for entries is Sunday 22nd November.
  
  7. The prize consists of: Nintendo DSi plus a copy of Nintendo Presents: Style Boutique for DS and a £100 New Look gift voucher.
  
  8. There are no cash or other alternatives to the stated prizes.
  
  9. For the winner’s name and county, please contact BD Network, Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6PQ
  
  10. Winners will be drawn randomly from a pool of users who have submitted their entries in that prize week (not those who send their design to a friend). Weeks run from Monday to Sunday inclusive.
  
  11. Winner’s will be notified within 7 days of the prize draw closing date for that week. If the selected winner does not respond to contact made by the Promoter within 28 days of prize draw closing date that person's claim to the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a substitute winner.
  
  12. Winners will be contacted by phone or email.

It's annoying as I entered with my daughter (who is 10) and I got the same message as korky???

Edit to add: I just 'styled' another outfit for her and it went through fine!
