I have about 30 quid in 1's and 2's all bagged but want to get them changed. Anyone know of any of the machines where you can feed them in and it gives you notes out. I know it will cost about 8% but worth it to get rid of all these. my bank will only accept 5 bags a go. so I just lodge the silver in there.

My tip is to head to a shopping centre with them and ask different shops to buy them from you (one or two bags at a time). I do this every year and it doesn't take long to get them changed into real money.
good luck0 -
go to a post office or your local shop.0

When shopping, use the self checkout in Tesco or Asda, the machines will take them0

So just queue up twice! Kick up a stink! Open a second bank account only for the change!
What a ridiculous policy - dont want to have to work!Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?
CCCS funded by banks0 -
Years ago now, when the £2 coins first came out people used to hoard them. I saved up about 100 and took them to the Ulster Bank on the Ormeau Road. The woman in there was so rude and refused to take them.:mad:0
