QuidCo - Dial-a-phone cashback declined!!

Hi,

Hoping someone out there in MSE world can help.
I recently took out a new mobile phone contract with Dial-a-phone.
This was taking advantage of the £50 cashback for a new mobile contract being taken out.

The contract i took out through Dial-a-phone itself paid £200 auto cashback which i have now recieved but the Quidco cashback which had been tracked is now saying declined.

When i raised a ticket with Quidco, they have come back to me with: "Your transaction is likely to have been declined as the merchant will not pay out on two sets of cash back. If you have received additional cash back from them directly they will not pay further cash back on your purchase.

On this occasion we are unable to proceed further with your enquiry."

Is this right?

Surely Quidco shoul be stating this in their terms and conditions before you click through to a website?

I have also taken out a dial a phone contract through Quidco,It was redemption not a cash back exactly.

They are due to Pay out in October,I haven't been paid yet

I have taken out a number of dialaphone contract via dialaphone and have always got both sets of cashback. The difference in this case could be that mine were not autocashbacks. My cashbacks from dialaphone were usually paid out months after quidco coughed up so it could be that the autocashback triggers something in Dialaphone's system which immediately invalidates the quidco one. It is only a theory but still does not justify it being declined as I don't see anything prohibiting it in their T&Cs.
