PC screens from Tesco or online?

Need a new PC screen.
They have 18.5 & 22 inch screens at Tesco for £89.00 & £119.00.
Are there websites online which offer better deals?
Or have Tesco cornered this market too?

Not on those prices - http://www.ebuyer.com/search?sort=pricelow&store=73&cat=12&limit=10&page=1....Or have Tesco cornered this market too?0 -
The main problem with those at Tesco, assuming that they are the LG ones as in store, is that they are VGA only - no DVI connector. As most new PC's have DVI, it will give a sharper picture on a DVI (digital) connection rather than on VGA (analogue)0

try doing a google, that will answer the question0

Also I suggest strongly you read some comparative reviews, there are good screens and terrible screens on the market, read and gen up on them, you spend hours looking at a screen, so get a good one.
Try the reviews at https://www.pcpro.co.uk and other good magazines.0 -

My PC has a standard PC>monitor socket, you know about an inch & a half long & lots of pins & two screws either side.0 -

Thank you
Thats the website I was thinking of, but I couldn't remember the name:o0 -
DVI is better - If you have it best to make use of it if the cost difference is not too great.
Also consider the screen resolution. LCD's run best at their native (max) resolution.
So if you want to play full HD movies then you need 1920x1080, but this may make things too small for general PC use - depends what you use most.
Look at your current resolution and screen size, and take it from there.0
