Limestone bathroom floor tiles: Help! Shall I order polished or honed?

Can anyone help? I am hopefully ordering bathroom tiles today for wall and floor and have chosen polished natural limestone for the walls. Ideally I think I want the same tile and finish on the floor but would the honed finish be less slippery? How about the cleaning and maintenance issues? Would the honed finish require regular sealing as it is more porous? Are honed tiles more difficult to keep clean especially given the pale colour of the limestone?
Many thanks

Limestone will require sealing no matter what the surface finish. The finish has almost no effect on the natural pourosity of the stone.
There isn't a great deal in it to be honest, Honed is slightly less slippery than polished when it's wet, but you'd need a bath mat or similar on either anyway.
Honed shows marks and scratches less than polished, polished is easier to keep in a bath/shower situation as at a microscopic level the stone is slightly more smooth and gives dirt a little less to grip onto.
In a bathroom I'd say just go with what you want...kitchen or hall floor or living areas I'd go honed every time.0
