MSE charity application

Options
I'm not sure if this is the right board to post this so feel free to relocate it.

I put in an application to the MSE charity for the OU course: You and Your Money. I'm on a low income and not eligible for other funding, so requested for a grant to cover about 90% of the costs that would be incurred.

Today I got an email saying:

Thank you for applying for an individual training grant. Unfortunately we are unable to support your application on this occasion.

I find this very brief and thought from the MSE charity website that if it got rejected you should be told why. Has anyone else had a response like this?
