Problems with trousers and legs that are too small

Hiya ladies

My other half is having some problems with his trousers he has had the same problem for a while and we are running out of ideas. He is 6'3" and 15 stone in weight and wears a size 34 waist the problem we are having is with his thighs due to him cycling to work and also riding a motorbike he has very muscley thighs so although his trousers fit him everywhere else he struggles to find work trousers and jeans that are comfortable and very often finds his work trousers spliting along the thighs or the groin area we have tried going up a size but then they just hang off his waist and still dont really fit around the thigh. Does anyone have any suggestions do you lovely lot know of anywhere that is a little more generous with the cut of the cloth in that area. He cant really loose weight in that area either as its pure muscle not fat in fact he doesnt have an ounce of fat on him.

Thanks in advance :o x

Sorry, I seem to remember my brother had this problem after years of rugby.
I dont know what he did though(except get fatter all over so he dosent have a small waist anymore)!
The only solution I can think of is a tailor/dressmaker. buy the trousers to fit the legs and get them adjusted at the waist? are you handy with a sewing machine at all?
Have you looked into big and tall, mens clothing websites?probably no help to you, but wanted to let you know I had read and thought about your problem:)

Dh has the same problem (altough not as tall) and said shops such as Primark and Peacocks tend to be better at giving the extra cloth

DH has this problem. The only way around it for him is to try on each and every pair of jeans in the shop when he buys.
I seem to remember him saying that the Asda ones in a bootcut sometimes fit him. I have bought him some diesel jeans before and they fitted alright but it is a risk becase they were from ebay.
I feel your pain, I'm not even allowed to by clothes for DH anymore cause he moans about them!

Thank you ladies i will try that web site and take him shopping the weekend we have tried asda but have never ventured into primark its always so busy but will brave it this once. I dont think it helps that the fashion at the moment is for skinny cut clothes :-) x

bigtall menswear, and 4 xl menswear quite often give you an idea of leg size, hubby has the same problem, and he copes quite well with their stuff!

Sorry can't help if you do manage to find somewhere that do can you please post back DH is exactly the same in the thigh area. 6"4 and a 34 waist, if he gets a 34" waist 36" when we can find them they fit length wise but don't feel comfy on his thighs. If he gets 36" 36" then they fall off him (and I am fed up of seeing a builders bum lol)

Well we went shopping today ended up in Marks and Spencers of all places there new autograph range seems to be the most generous we could find in thigh area (unless you want grandad simon cowl round the chest waist line stylee) so we grabbed a couple of pairs will let you know how we get on with them. They arent cheap though they were £40 a pair  which to me is expensive when the equivelent trouser would be £15 somewhere like asda or tesco but hey if they fit needs must.

Thank you all for your suggestions :-)
