Scottish Power (Cheeky beggars)
My Scottish Power fixed rate recently ended, I was emailed saying do nothing and they would fix me again or opt out for standard tariff.
I opted out but received a letter an email a month later thanking me for capping again.
A quick (say no 0845) phone call later and I'm told I'll be on the standard rate.
Today I receive a letter saying I'm on a discounted rate for a year which has a £30 and £20 cancellation fee for gas and elecetricity.
I want to change supplier, can they charge me for this as I initially signed up for a years fixed rate.
Just want some advice before I phone them again!
