Posting to Slovakia

Not really expecting to have this item paid for so counting the days till can report it as unpaid. Sold a pair of new trainers on Ebay. Won by a brand new bidder from Slovakia that registered a few days ago. In the unlikely chance they do pay any tips for sending item to Slovakia. Anyone had any experience of posting there?

it wont happen, you should list things as post to uk only, uk bidders only. this way you can cancel their bids without come-back.

Use the RM website to calculate costs to Slovakia. If the item is of any value to you (ie if it is 'lost' will you suffer the loss) then use a tracked service such as International Signed For, costs less than £4 on top of the airmail price. Add this tracking info onto the Paypal transaction, they will then email the buyer this info.

If you have not set your seller preferences to exclude those from countries you don't ship this won't work. It also wouldn't stop sniping. Putting UK only in your listing is pointless unless you have set your seller preferences to that also

I got a "I will be sending payment by postal order/bankers draft" from the buyer in Slovakia last night so I hate to think what is going to turn up. Hopefully it will be English money.

I have posted to Slovakia a few times, fairly low cost items (used kids clothes) and had no problems at all. Just took it to the Post Office as usual, paid very little extra - if any - for the overseas postage, and positive feedback left for me within the week.

They did pay through Paypal though :D
