hi, my son bought a mobile from ebay on the 28th aug from honk kong ( my friend bought from the same seller before and didnt have any problems with them so we thought it would be safe for my son to buy from them) , which when it arrivied it would not switch on or charge, contacted the seller about this and eventually seller said to send back for a refund which we did on the 18th sept, its still not showing as having been delivered. i have contacted the seller a couple of times to see if it has arrived back with them yet, which it hasnt.
i know its only been just over 2weeks since it was sent back, but as it will soon be 45 days since it was bought should i start a paypal claim just so i dont lose my protection or should i wait to see what happens?

Open a paypal claim. Give the tracking infomation. The only downside is that you need to prove it was delivered. You may be able to claim from the carrier if there is no evidence the item was delivered.0

hi custardy, it shows that it has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery to its destination
if i have to claim through RM i know i wont get full amount back but i was told if it does go missing i would be able to claim up to £39 for it, losing about £15 on purchase price but thats better than losing all of the money paid on it0 -
I've had two overseas buyers file "not as described claims" and when I responded to the paypal disputes agreeing to a refund once the items were returned, in both cases paypal stated that the buyer only had to prove they'd posted the item and not that it had been delivered. I'm pretty sure it said that they would refund the buyer 10 days after they'd provided proof of posting. You should therefore be covered as you have proof you posted it.0
