Getting an overdraft extension ASAP?

I currently have a £1200 (student 0%) OD with Natwest, and get some money from sources at the beginning of every month and am -800 atm.
Unfortunately, I've got into a bit of a pickle this month, with car insurance, MOT, uni fees etc all due before the 25th, end result I won't have enough to cover it all. But, when June starts, I'll be fine.
What would cover it, is a temporary(?) OD extension to 1500. Can/are Natwest likely to extend it for me, or should I start selling stuff on ebay?

Anything said here is likely to be conjecture - the only way to find out is to contact NatWest yourself. You may be better off calling into your local branch rather than trying to deal with someone on the phone (especially if it is a student branch) and you can strengthen your request for an extension if you present a clear case i.e. how much of an increase/extension you want, how long for, what you will use the money for, how and when will repayment come through.

I would suggest you ask for as long as an extension as possible to give you some leeway in case the money you are anticipating in June is delayed.

Also you can ask them about a credit card that can be used to pay for insurance, MOT, shopping, ... However, it is not 0% if you don't pay balanca in full every month, although you have up to about 8 weeks interest-free period on purchases.

Thanks for both advices, I'm gonna go into NW later today and see what I can do. I've been rejected for the Natwest card before, I do have a Halifax one approved, but I won't get it in time for everything :(
