NPower are distressing me with their gratuitously high bills

OK here's the thing...I was with Swalec, in the same property for 8 years on a token meter. I was paying 15-20 pounds a fortnight in summer and 30-35 pounds a fortnigth in winter. On avergae that's £150 a quarter. Then last March I switched to a normal meter then a few weeks later switched to Npower after being stopped in the sreet after they asid tehy were cheaper than Swalec and could save me money. My first bill for the summer months blew me away. It was over £300. I've been in touch with them about it via telephone several times ever since...they sent me a new bill for a few pounds less and then when I said it was still too high they sent me another that was even higher. They then had the audacity to write and tell me that my complained was settled!!!! How can they tell me my compaint is resolved when I hadb't said it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have since found out about their hideous repuation and their overcharging 2.2 milloins cucstomers. Friends ahve also said how they hate NPower so I rue the day I ever siwtched over. I have spoken to Consumer Adivce and they said to put a complaint in wirting wich I am about to do. Just thougth I'd post on here to see if anyone else has got any thougths on it. Any input would be appreciated. I am not a well lady and any distressss like this causes me to increase medication.

Can you post your meter readings from March and today, and details on your bills.0

Sorry for delay in replying, it's all sorted now, they admitted fault and re-billed me. Turned out my a tual bill was £262 for 7 months not £300 for 3. So I paid up and everything but am going to switch suppliers anyway as the damage is already done. They also sent me another bill recebntly for £257. Go figure.0

It seems really simple to me. Read meter>do sums>send bill.0
