Refused CC appeal letter - HELP

Hi all! I've recently been refused a Credit Card by Sainsbury's Bank and am desperately trying to find a rejection appeal letter template / example. If anyone has a successful letter or knows where to find one, please let me know. Cheers!

Before you can appeal you really have to contact them and find out the reason why they have rejected the application.

Not sure it works like that.
Usually you are not told the reason (and in most cases the people you speak do couldn't even find out anyway).

It depends on the reason, it can be just a generic "failed credit scoring" but at times they can be more specific. It is difficult to appeal against a decision if you dont know the grounds that it was made on. If they say that it is because you havent been in your current job long enough then you know what to argue about.

Generally you have to provide 'additional' information about yourself which the information asked for at application stage might have missed - as this this may affect the way they credit score you.

If you already have another HBOS issued card that might count in your favour (as they can generally share this 'group' information about their customers but do not always appear to do so on an initial application).
