Another Problem With Paypal

Hi hope someone on here can help. My daughter a poor student has bought a few items from Ebay and paid o.k with Paypal, a few weeks ago she sold her first item including postage for £50 she applied to have the £50 transferred to her bank. She received a email from Paypal saying that the funds had been returned to them because her account details were incorrect. The amount was now £36 as they had deducted £14. I sent them an Email asking how come she had paid for items from this account with no problem so how come payments couldnt be received in the same account, they said again about the wrong account deatails, so I emailed them again asking the same question. Now I have had a reply saying that the account details are in fact correct but that her Paypal account is not confirmed thats why the amount was sent back from her bank. They go into alot of detail about how to confirm her account. Can someone tell me has the account got to be confirmed and should she be made to pay the £14 charges :mad:

nope, doesnt need to be confirmed at all. paypal are just making excuses as usual. Although double checking her account to make double sure the details are correct doesnt hurt. If they still make excuses, withdraw another small payment like £1 to see if it bounces again, if it goes through then paypal are just messing you around.
