Hi All,
Does anyone know of a product which combines a Dvd player and a Dab receiver? I have been searching and have found the Hitachi axm-140 but this seems overpriced at £549 (especially considering some of the poor reviews.)
I would have thought there would be quite a few, maybe you know where they are.
Thanks
Mike

why not get yourself a DVD player and a separate freeview box with digital tv channels as well as radio stations?Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0

Its for a bedroom and we are a bit limited on space,I was thinking about a micro system so the sound is better than the telly speakers, there are plenty of micros with dvd and plenty with Dab but not both, using a dvd/freeview setup would just use the tinny telly speakers as there is not enough room for a surround sound system.
Thanks though, it may be viable if there are no other suitable products.

Even better is to get yourself one of the DVD RECORDERS with FREEVIEW in one box. There was a thread here somewhere on a beautiful Panasonic for around £150 from Currys or Comet. Really the best value for money out there. I also use two tiny but good quality PC speakers (bought for around £30) connected to the tiny TV and gives an excellent quality sound.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0
