    hk = hong kong?

    I don't think Royal Mail class international items as lost until 25 days have lapsed, so I would probably give it a little longer before making a claim.

    Hong Kong can take up to a month. If you buy something very cheap, expect to wait a while for it. If you needed it quickly, you should have paid a bit more and bought from somewhere a bit closer to home.

    But if you decide to give them more time, make sure you are ready to put in a claim before the 45 day period has passed.

    They are once it hits UK mainland :rolleyes: Unless you really think that some random Chinese bloke* will turn up on your doorstep with it, and say "I've got a parcel for you". As I said, we buy quite a bit from Hong Kong, China etc, and it all comes by normal post... which is handled by Royal Mail, and will be delivered via Royal Mail delivery centres.

    I'm sure Custardy will be along to clarify this soon enough.
