Pennine Helicopters - no flight over 2 years later

I've heard from Trading Standards today who have spoken at length with Pennine Helicopters and have now offered a 90% refund.
On the one hand it seems wise to take it but then on the other I shouldn't lose anything because I haven't gained anything. In fact the costs of constantly ringing them and the millions of other things I've tried to do to reclaim my money plus the (probably very small amount of ) interest on the money in the first place.
We could still go down the small claims court route.
I don't know what to do anymore. I hate the idea of them keeping even 10%, they've done nothing but cause me stress, it feels like too great a loss and too great a compromise.
Yet on the other hand, for that cost it would hopefully be over with in a short time.
Obsessing about remortgaging and interest rates all day, every day:)0 -
In your position, I would not accept the 90% as 'full and final settlement', but I would accept the 90% 'without prejudice' and then take the small claims route for the remainder.
If you do get the 90% and go down the small claims route, it would make the case about your point of principle, but you do need to be careful about any accusations they may make that you have mucked them about.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Thankyou, I think that sounds like a plan.

If they had any sense....... given how often MSE threads pop up in search engine results....... they'd apologise for giving you the royal runaround......and give you at least 100% refund PDQ.0

What is, Pennine Helicopters? Wow, I hope Pennine Helicopters regret how they dealt with Happyjaw. Indeed, I think many people will think twice about doing business with Pennine Helicopters. It seems that Pennine Helicopters is a right royal shambles.
P.S. Pennine Helicopters. :rotfl:0 -
That tickled me!

It might even be for Pennine Helicopters that a 2-year wait occurs before Pennine Helicopters ceases to be mentioned in Google references to Pennine Helicopters MSE Pennine Helicpters thread and whilst that's unfortunate for Pennine Helicopters I think Pennine Helicopters would have a hard time challenging Google T&Cs relating to search results for Pennine Helicopters or any other results which didn't mention Pennine Helicopters.
However: to counter any anxieties of ongoing ascent failure by Pennine Helicopters it should be stated that although at post #26 Pennine Helicopters MSE Pennine Helicopters thread was ranked third on page two, Google, Pennine Helicopters has climbed to the second rank on page two, Google Pennine Helicopters MSE Pennine Helicopters thread, so it's up up and away for Pennine Helicopters in this regard even if Pennine Helicopters didn't manage any vertical progress at all in exchange for the money taken from the OP and intend to keep 10% of that for not having gone anywhere except further up the Google Pennine Helicopters MSE Pennine Helicopters thread.
Moral: some business conduct can defy gravity.
But never, belief.0 -

Don't be ridiculous! Can you imagine if he did 'step in'. Christ, you'd have half the country queuing up on the forums begging for his help.
OP, take action in the small claims court. You have been more than patient.0 -

As a wind-up artist, you must be able to do something with the rotors on a Pennine Helicopter?
Go on. Give it a go.0
