My Lands End bargain coat arrived this week and is totally gorgeous! I'm rather looking forward to some ghastly weather now, so I can try it out ...

    Great! :)

I'm looking forward getting mine too.
I've already got a heavy coat, a bit grubby now and I'm bored with it because I've had it for a few years, but also the colour is not great, bought it because it was ridiculously cheap (blue cross type of discount at the very end of sales), but was not sure about the colour.
Ended it up wearing it all the time when it's very cold. It replaced a Ann Harvey quilted coat that was warm but rather bulky....

I bought the down Commuter coat in Imperial Purple, it's a deep plum colour and just lovely :heart2: , it will go with everything, and is fully waterproof and soooo cosy. Even the pockets are lined with a lovely soft fleece.
(can't thank you enough tf for that code, it should have been £120 and I almost did pay that for it, but thanks to you I got it for £90 :j)

Lands End are great. They've got some lovely shirt dresses in the clearance at the moment and I ordered the black one the other day using the 25% off code so it only cost me £14-ish with postage. It arrived and it's lovely, so I've just ordered the red one :o Smart enough for work, very comfy and lovely fabric. There are some comments that it's short, but I'm 5'5''ish and the hem is sitting just below my knees so that's fine for me.

I dont know if this will be of any use to anyone, but I think Simply Be are in the market to open some shops. I saw a job advert for staff in my local paper (Leicester Mercury) for a shop they will be opening in Leicester Highcross. I'm thrilled as I really like their bras but I had to put my accounts on my DMP and now I cant buy from them :( will be useful to be able to try before you buy and not have to worry about returns :)

Those Simply Be shops look great! I hope they manage to make a go of it, they are taking a huge gamble venturing onto the high street with the current economic circumstances. I hope they will give Evans a run for their money. Wonder where else they might open?

Just to say, there's 25% off online orders at Lands End until 23:59 on Sunday (11th). Use code SAVE25.
