My friend installed new BT Yahoo broadband today and although it is working fine, everything is through a BT browser and has an annoying BT tollbar.
All his favourites have gone as well.
So, could someone please tell me how to get rid of the BT toolbar ? And where the favourites might be hiding ?
Thanks in advance

He should still have his usual internet explorer accessed from the ie icon? Assuming this, go to control panel, add remove programmes and delete the BT browser.0

I assume you mean a BT badged version of IE
If so go to a blank area of the toobar and press the right mouse button. It should give a list of ticked & unticked toolbars. Untick the BT one.
as for your favorites, just do a search for "favorites" or a known link and then move that into the current favorites folder0
