Locate the folder on the pendrive and right mouse click, select properties with the left mouse button - how big is the folder.

Hi Hardeman - at that size it is just a shortcut - it should be 200MB +

You need to go back to the desktop PC insert the pendrive and the Office CD.

It needs to be copied again, but is the desktop XP or Vista

    Thanks for your advice...

I'll reload it (the office cd) on the pendrive - and copy it? not following fully...
I am not very good at this stuff...

I will tell you exactly what to do, but I need to know what OS you have first.

    Ok, that makes things easier.

On the desktop PC open My Computer and locate the Office CD, right mouse click on it, and select Copy with the left mouse
Locate the pendrive in My Computer, double left click on it, right click and select paste with the left mouse. This should copy the files, and will take a good few minutes.

When complete, transfer the pendrive to the netbook and locate it in my computer.
Again right mouse click on the folder you have created - probably called Office11 or similar - select copy with the left mouse.

Go to the desktop of the netbook and right click in free space, select paste with the left mouse. This will again copy, and will take a few minutes.

Lastly, double click on the folder that is now on the desktop of the netbook, and then double click on the file called Setup :)

    The install should then start
