  • 00020324.gif dark and rainny here today. Just about to have a cuppa my head was spinning this morning remembering everything for kids to take to school, gym kit, morrisions vouchers, mobile phones for school funds, tins of food for harvest collection in aid of homeless drop in centre, should really have done it last night but I was too tired. Did put my 2010 callender up last night that my Auntie got me the other day it has one page of 2009 and the others are 10 and it's full of bearded collies so I'm well chuffed.

    Morning all :)

Landed Sunday safe and sound, back home and need to unpack and fly! Picked up some bathroom storage yesterday which JUST fits, think I will start with the kitchen as it's on the list for today. So my list will be....

    Pigpen's kitchen list
    Unpack 8 boxes
Phone Ikea as one of the packs has bits missing
4 washer loads - and TD as it's pouring down
Take PC, surround sound system and spare TV over Matthew's Mam's...oh and his present wherever that is
Start filling a box for the table top sale

Suppose I should make a start....
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200

    Morning all

I'm really tired. Just after I posted last night DS1 came into the kitchen and said Mum your drain men are outside! Went out and low and behold they have come tojet the drains at 9:30 at night. An hour and a half later (hot drinks and kitkats supplied) they had to give up - they think the drain or soakaway has collapsed - great - Highways are so going to love me and so not going to want to pay to get that done.

Dusty hope QV behaved herself last night, I'd be tempted to just bandage it too if she's that distressed about the collar I don't know why the Vets don't do that  I presume it must be something to do with air getting to the wound to aid with healing  anyway hope you're less stressed about it today, Lily is giving me the evil eye cause it's raining and I wont let her out, no doubt she'll be plotting revenge under the stairs.

Poor Lily. The Queen is the same, the cat flap is locked but she keeps going and pawing at it. She is refusing to use the litter tray so is desperate, it's like potty training all over again :rotfl:

Piggers - thanks for your advise. DS1 and I have managed to get a clean new sock over her leg secured with a hair band - the sock is bright orange and Woody thinks it's hillarious, the Queen is not amused.
    Plan for today

Morning all, it is pouring with rain here,I seem to have a large list to be getting on with though . Will start it after a cup of coffee and some crumpets(comfort food :D).
Kids are at school pets have been fed, litter trays are all cleaned so i have made some sort of effort this morning :D. Oh and the deep fat fryer is soaking(i hate cleaning it but it was filthy).
I will try to keep to the lists but am not sure how much of the thread i will be able to keep up with(sorry).
hugs to all that need/want/like them and healthy vibes to the poorlies x.

The only thing that is not clean and sparkly in my kitchen is the radiator, it is shocking. How is it best to clean it? Obviously behing isn't such a problem as people can't see that (nor can I), the inside is grimy with cat hairs from previous owner, I have done what I can but I am not happy with it. The front looks really dirty, I have tried scrubbing it but it isn't spotless. There is another that needs a good clean too so any suggestions please?

    HHC 10-10.30 anyone?
