i had my garage roof repaired for the 3rd time in as many years and its started letting in water yet again! i have looked for a plumber do a simple job and was quoted wildly different prices, something to do with being a women on my own maybe? i have just finished watching House of Horrors on TV and i think it would be a good idea for people who have had a decent job for a decent price to recommend them on this site. It would certainly stop me from being so nervous about getting a tradesman.
P.S.
we could also have hall of shame for those not to use.

The only thing is how could you police it?

How would you know someone had a good job done and it wasnt just the tradesmen / company pretending to be a happy client?

As for hall of shame, it is a good idea in theory but again, I would think it hard to police - could members or even Martin be had up for libel or something?
