car insurance help

my OH has just recieved a letter from his insurance saying he needs to pay them an additional £90 , he has had his policy for 5 months now and has payed off the insurance in full, up untill this extra £90. He has emailed them and asked why they need £90 more , aparently they have said there has been additional information since his quote etc.......

he has changed nothing in his policy so can not understand this , also he thinks this is a bit of a joke because hes already has the policy for 5 months , he could sort of understand if it had only been a week etc...

can they charge him an extra £90 so late into the policy ?

Be very careful with this one, if your OH don't pay they may cancel the policy. Has OH got points or had an accident not disclosed to the insurance company?

You need to find out what additional information. The contract is between your husband and the insurer. Nobody else.

he has got points but everything is declared, i understand what you mean about not paying but what about say in 3 months time they ask for another £90 for no reason

i cannont see why they are asking for this extra money
