    once you click the option that says you dispute it as you do, it wont go any further . the defence will then get sent to black horse and they will have to decide to take it to a local court or not. the extra time is to allow you to come up with a good defence.
  • OMG!!! I have no defence and no idea what i,m meant to say or do next.... sorry to be a pain but could you help me with what I should do please?

    Sorry can't help with regards to the court issue.
    Just wondering, do you have any finance in both you and your partners name (joint mortgage, loan for eg)? If not, your credit file will not affect your partners in any way whatsoever. If you do, then their chance if getting credit will be unlikely.
