EON - Signing up on a Sunday
Is the EON website often partially down on a Sunday.
Been unavailable to signup all morning. Keep getting
"Our website is currently having problems" when trying to apply.
I seem to remember similar issues last time I switched to EON, but would have thought Sunday is a prime day for people sorting out their household finances (unfortunately)

Very very sloppy from EON. Makes me doner if another supplier is a better bet.
These systems should be monitored 24x7. A small undetected outage is understandable, but to be down for many hours shows a lack of responsibility or at least communication.
A generic "this website is down" is ok for brief outages only. For anything pre-planned, or something that has occured that is being fixed should cause EON to have a specific message on their page advising customers of the issue.
For a major utility to not have this information is a pretty poor show on EONs behalf. We are now in 2009. Online customer service is not optional, it's a mandatory part of doing business. What goes around - comes around

The accounts access section is now available (8:50 am)Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0

Well I was going to switch to EON, but didn't find this situation particularly impressive.
Is this a very occasional one-off or a regular occurance?
Ok I know I would only use the account site infrequently, but I worry it suggests other sloppiness in their administration capabilities? What goes around - comes around

I have never had a problem getting in to my account until yesterday, and never had any complaints about Eon since I have been with them (about 5 years).Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
Hi Guys,
Sorry for the inconvenience this website fault has caused you, like any website we have technical difficulties from time to time, but this certainly isn’t a regular occurrence.
Thanks as well for the feedback :T regarding the message we display, I’ll certainly pass this on, like anything the details of the website and its design are under constant review.
Everything now appears to be functioning correctly.
