BT "the number you have dialed has not been recognized"

Hi
My line was on incoming calls last week due to late payment of my bill, but was switched back on last week. I do still have a few quid outstanding on my bill but they said i had until Thursday 8th October, and that i would not be disconnected or have any other action taken on my account.
Anyway my phone was fine lat night as i made a call, But I just tried to make a call on my landline and no matter what number i diall, i hear the message "the number you have dialed has not been recognized" I am even getting this message when i dial 150 or 151, so i can't even call BT!!
If my line had been restricted, it would divert any calls (other than free phone numbers) to BT, I can not understand why every call i make including 150 is giving me this message.
any one any idea's?? would be much appreciated

Sounds like your line has been disconnected.(I'm currently on Pay & Call with BT until they switch me over & I get the same when I'm late topping up my moneybox & get cut off.
Problem is,once a disconnection has been processed it can be harder to reconnect without re-provisioning the line.0 -
