I buy the plastic mailing envelopes, which are lighter than jiffy bags, and just as protective. You can pick them up pretty cheap too.January - Nintendo Wii, 2 x Lush bath bombs :j

Your local PO will have a supply of heavy duty poly SD bags. Get a bunch and turn them inside out and jobs done.
Heavy brown paper is £1 for 3 rolls in poundland so that's another cheap option.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -
If you need slightly bigger bags, get a roll of rubble sacks from one of the pound shops, but be sure to tape your address labels on securely :-)Google is my friend ..... :j0

I use the bags for life from supermarkets
5p to 10p each,Tesco have a brown one
at the moment that has a jar of Nescafe
as the design on it,this one is thicker plastic
than the others 9p:j:j:j0 -
yeh plastic mailing envelopes however have had clothes turn up in sellotaped black bags and on other occasions shoe boxes, some small items even in normal bubble envelopes
