If it N.I. then its a U.K. address with a postcode and just the same as sending anywhere in the U.K.
If its Eire or southern Ireland then its an EU/european country and you will probably use airmail.I send quite often to Southern Ireland and airmail is usually about £1 less than standard U.K. mail for the items I send.
Depends what you are sending though so check prices at https://www.royalmail.com"Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -

charge more as its classed as Europe. Also check their postcode on collect plus, as it can be cheaper to send things through this:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

R.O.I. is southern ireland so europe.E.U. country.R.O.I. doesnt have postcodes.
In my experience it will cost same or a little less as to U.K.Check postage costs online using royal mails postage calculator.Or give me the weight(you can use kitchen scales)and rough size and I will check it for you.
I always send my stuff for what it actually costs at the post office plus up to 50p for packaging,I just round it up to the nearest tidy number and that gives me a little for packaging materials.
I dont think you should charge more just because its europe if the postage costs same or less though."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
But OK this with your customer first - they have to travel to pick it up. Might suit some people ou at work all day. If something was sent to me this way without asking first I would not be happy.dawyldthing wrote: »charge more as its classed as Europe. Nor me unless it was stated clearly in the listing before I bid so I can choose whether I am happy to do so or not.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The name in English is Ireland. Éire is only correct when speaking Irish and "Southern Ireland" hasn't existed since 1922.0 -

I.

Dublin does
Not really post codes, like in the rest of the world. Dublin is divided into postal districts, like D1, D2. But they're just districts.
That said, the Irish government recently announced that a post code system will be implemented in Ireland, for the first time ever, by 2012 at a cost of €15m.
Good one Cowen, that's just what we need to spend €15m on when we're pretty much bankrupt.0
