Hi
I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I have just bought a Zanussi ZDC47 100 W condenser tumble drier ...and it keeps stopping and starting....at first I thought it was too much weight, so I took some clothes out but it is still doing it...any advice please?
edit: sorry just seen 'in the home' forum...think this should be there

Does it stop for a minute or so and then start again? Could it be just changing the direction of the drum rotation? Mine does this to prevent tangling and is part of the normal programme.
Mine's a Hotpoint.0 -

All tumble dryers change direction every so often otherwise the clothes end up tightly wound up and wont dry very quickly. Changing direction breaks them up and allows the air to get to more of their surfaces.0
