Argos product description is wrong

My hubby needed a modem router urgently this afternoon after ours packed in. Argos was the nearest place to get one, which is 20 miles away, and we sent the MIL to get it.
This is the one i wanted. I am on a ADSL connection, so needed a modem router. I wasnt sure if all descriptions for modem routers say modem - so I looked up the model number
F5d8636uk4a.

I found this model of router on the Belkin website, and it is definitely a modem router.

MIL dropped in the box, and low and behold its for cable connections.
So because Argos have the wrong model number on the item, MIL has made a wasted journey to get the router, will have to go back again to return it as its on her card, husband cant get his work done because now we have no router, and we have to go somewhere tomorrow to get another router.
Incidently, they do have the Modem router on their website, for a much higher price - is it worth arguing that this is what they have advertised at the lower price?

The product number in the Argos book definitely does correspond to a Modem Router so it's obvious a mistake has been made and you should have no problem returning it.
As for arguing that the modem router is what they were advertising at the lower price (so therefore you should be able to buy it at the lower price), no, it's not worth arguing that. It's a misprint and they're not under any obligation to sell you the Modem Router at any price.0
