can i ask for my deposit back?

Hello,
I'm getting utterly confused, so am looking for some advice here.
I have ordered a pram package. Before ordering I’ve asked for estimated delivery date and was told it’s 3 weeks tops. I said that’s great as my baby is due in 4 weeks, and placed the order with the deposit.
4 weeks down the line and my order still hasn’t arrived, or to be exact part order has arrived in the shop, and when I can expect the rest is a mystery. The package consists of a pram in standard black (which was delivered to the shop), some accessories in specific colours (not delivered) and a carseat in specific colour (not delivered either). I don’t really need the pram or the accessories right now, but with 3 days until due date we need the carseat to travel home from hospital, so was offered carseat in different colours which I don’t like.
So the question is, can I cancel the order and get my deposit back in full, preferably straight away rather than in 30 days? I’d have to go to other retailer to buy same off the shelf and pay more, so need pretty much full amount.
Does the fact that I ordered specific colours mean that the package was made to order? I’m sure they’ll be able to sell them to somebody else anyway, as they weren’t made to specific size or personalised.
