Also, is it ok to buy a gift card on the RE sport shop visits? There isn't a lot you can get with the reimbursement and a gift card would be a nice Xmas pressie for someone. It doesn't say you can't...it just says "make a purchase of any item", so I can't see why not.
I regularly do these shops (my boys love their clothes!!) and I have in the past bought a rucksack, I did ring RE before the visit though just to check, so perhaps you best give them a ring on Monday just to double check if it is ok for your assignment. ;) Gift card is a definite "no no".

Grrrrrrrrrr! Gyp are living up to their name. 3 weeks ago I carried out 2 fuel station audits - and got a query about some of the timings overnight about 2 days later. I replied as soon as I saw them - 9 hours from receipt.

Strangely the next day the two locations were down for shopping again - so I selected them - contacted Gap via enquiry to ask if this was right and that i was going to be paid for the original two shops. I got no reply and re-visited them yesterday - all good and no different than 2 weeks prior. The manager even stated he had had the results!

Just got an email notifying me that I was uncontactable over the two original assignments, and as such the results cannot be forwarded to the client, so have been deselected from me! I've now replied by email - and via enquiry.

I've not mentioned that I know the manager got the results. When do I drop that bombshell!

Dare I phone Gyp and risk being banned?

edit - got fed up - told them the manager said he had the results.

    night night!!!

You can use whatever packaging you like as long as the parcel is the specified weight.

I've not done any with the recognition certificate for these shops, but have had to do 'reveal' shops for other clients and it's fine. The people in the shop usually just go all quiet and you can see them trying to remember what they said to you! I think these ones are going to be fine, as the people who receive the certificates are going to be pleased as they have done the right thing.

Remember to get 2 separate receipts, if you do end up posting the parcel, someone has been told by Gyp that your purchase and the parcel need to be on separate receipts.

I'm doing lots of stamp shops next week so will let you know how I get on.

Hi all, hope everyones ok. Just returned from a shop in town where I had to take my little princess to be measured up for some shoes, try them on and buy them. The brief says to send them to RM along with receipt for reimbursement, but we love them. Does anyone know if its ok to keep them and just complete the assignment for the fee offered. I have done this before for tern and they were fine about it, but can't get in touch with RM cos its the weekend.

    Many thanks

    Ang x

It should be OK to keep the shoes, but just double check with RM on Monday.

I've done a few shoe shops for them, and the shoes were gorgeous so I was tempted to keep them!

When I phoned the results in and told them that, they said it was fine to do so if I wanted to.

    I resisted the temptation though...........................!:D

Do you work for them or do you want people to sign up for them so you get the referral fee? Either way - I don't think it's allowed on this board

thats just the email everyone got weeks ago so yes he looking to refer people but if you look back a few pages you will see some one who claims to work for this firm but they never answered my questions.

I have a couple of stamp jobs tomorrow but only seem able to print out the first 2 pages of the brief even though I can see the pages? The rest print out blank, anyone else had this problem? Is there a way around it short of writing it out by hand?

    Hi,

Sorry, can;t help without a roundabout way. I get this problem quite a lot too - I save the webpage / save as pdf using Cutepdf and then try but neither of these ways work.

The way I can get the full printout is to save to a webpage capture program I have installed called Web Research from macropool then print from that: Not an advert for this software - just answering your question :p
