Whoops, I might have snaffled that one....
I didnt see any at all. Did you get Ipswich? I was just asking Pennies how she has her settings as I think that may be the problem.

I only saw one in Ipswich, which was the one I took. I just logged on and I can still see a Clacton one, so I guess if you can't see that you might need to adjust something or other? No idea what.

Right people I have a problem (and no its not answered on page one ! haha)

Did a chicken job today took 17 minutes for my carry out and asked for my receipt as normal the very nice young man said no probs I will put it in the bag (can you see where this is going yet) got to the car checked my 10 pieces of chicken and NO RECEIPT -NOoooooooo. When back in but way to busy now , even tried later on to get it.

Completed my report and detailed what happened but still I am getting emails asking for my receipt, I have even send an email to them explaining what happened but no answer.

Guess I am getting the boot soon - anybody else done this ?
  • Thanks everyone for the replies on GfK - I will keep on with the bank jobs, hopefully will get some others soon. I just wanted more as I like their report format, very easy to fill in, much nicer than RE jobs

Are there really 3 department stores on Abai? Feeling left out now, as I thought I had them all but only 2 dept stores - the expensive one and the one that's got a £5 discount voucher floating around currently.

I wouldn't exactly call them what you'd think of as a traditional dept store like Debenhams, House of Fraser or John Lewis, but I guess they are really. Altho as UKM says it's invite only, so I wouldn't worry.

If you think Twiggy - does that help?

Don't buy an iPhone. Many non-techincally-minded people get sucked in. Don't buy one!

I've got a Nokia n series, but some non-technically-minded people have problems with these, due to the networks putting their own operating software (firmware) onto the phone and it ends up not working very well.

Many people on here use Blackberry "phones" (term used losely sas they can do many things!) - never owned one myself, but have used them and they seem great. The only problem with them, for me, is the buttons are really small and I have hands like shovels and sausage-fingers so I can't get on with them very well.

I do quite like my BlackBerry but am not able to use it for MS - maybe I need to download that Beamer option. The BlackBerry Pearl is better than the Curve in respect of key size which is twice that of the Curve and also a smaller more phone size type of handset.

Yes, exact same thing happened to me at same store and they paid me fine. I also forgot to look left and right and just put shop and house and it was fine!

I've never done a bank job with GfK and get offered plenty - home stores, cafes, bingo etc. Think you just generally have to build up your jobs and reputation with them.

Had a shop for the 3rd "department store" yesterday. What a weird experience-it went from really good service to horrible service and a H&S issue. I've never run out of space for their reports before and never had that kind of service experience with that company too.
I have another two to do for them next week -hopefully I won't be seeing a pattern emerging !
