Don't know what to do.....I was suppose to carry out a MS job for RE last night, but got my dates mixed up and thought it was for this evening. It won't let me re-schedule and of course when you try to ring on a weekend there's no answer. I have tried to go through the next stage where you can select unable to complete, but then the reasons in the drop down aren't very appropriate. When I select an option, it then asks me to confirm that the venue was closed. Which isn't really appropriate either. How can I release it?

All I seem to see on GfK is banks - is it like ABAi where you have to add clients (checked page one, but it doesn't seem so) ? Or is it just my area? I don't mind the bank jobs, I just never seem to see any of the other GfK jobs people mention.
I'm in Manchester too Lauren. There were 3 bingo jobs around here, I took 2 when I posted the alert, so maybe someone else beat you to the 3rd one.

It's mainly been banks on GFK recently, endless numbers of them. I think sometimes they might offer you more clients after you've done a certain number of jobs successfully for them. I've been offered a homeware store, occasionally a phone shop, heritage visits and government offices, but only saw these clients after I had done lots of banks I think. Keep looking, hopefully you will see some jobs soon.

I like GFK, they're my favourite company to work I think. The jobs are usually clear and pay is quite good. The bingo ones are my favourite, as I enjoy them and also get paid to go!

Q: How do I release a job that I've accepted but can no longer complete?
A: When you are logged into the RE site, you should see, towards the top left, a link that says "X Active" (where X is a number). Click on this link, then scroll to the job you wish to release. To the bottom right of the job details, you'll see a link that says "Release". click on this, and follow the on-screen prompts.

    That should do it!

That was too easy, why didn't I think of that! Thanks

If it was too easy it wouldn't be in the FAQs at the start of the thread so don't worry about it, you're definitely not the first to ask.

ARGH!!!!!! I am so mad at myself

I have just got back from doing a clothes shop and forgot to take a picture of the outside.
  • I've had a problematic shop today too. Just got back from a pharmacy job on RE and the staff member didn't ask me one single question. Not if the medication was for myself, or what else I was taking etc etc. I just asked for it and she handed it to me. I can definately see that being questioned and disputed by the store in a few days time. And then of course RE will believe them and not pay me...:(

Do you mean that they don't always believe what MSs find? Whats the point of having them then?

Yeah Squidge had a problem with RE taking a restaurants word over hers over something, and don't even get me started on burger jobs with another company. Madness if you ask me, but hey ho. I've never had a run in with RE before so I don't know - they might not question it, but i'm anticipating something.
