Summerhouse - is it feasible to build your own?

Hi, I want to get a summerhouse for the back of the garden. I've been looking at this one at Garden Buildings Direct. What I really like to know is it worth building your own summerhouse, what kind of material would I need and roughly how much would it cost for say 7x8 ft? Has any MS built one before? Thanks.

Seems like a very good price to me....15 years ago we ordered a largish Summerhouse from Wickes, price was around £700...we were SHOCKED when it was delivered...'kit form' was expected but the 'kit' was like a timberyard job......had to buy our very first B & D Workmate and Saw just for Starters...was quite an experience and I have the Photos in stages to prove it......Turned out Brilliant.... eventually...Given the very good price...BUY ready made unless you have a few months of spare time and enjoy working with wood is my advice0
