Pink Felt tip on carpet and rug!!!!!

Hi,

We have got pink felt tip on our beige carpet and a large rug. Basically the dog got hold of the felt tip and decided to crunch it up, leaking the felt tip all over the rug and a large area of the carpet.

All help would be most appreciated to get rid of it, if not possible, do you think I would have a case for insurance, are they likely to replace a whole rooms carpet because of a stain across 1m square?

my darliing 3 year old daughter did this with a purple pen on our cream carpet and i used carpet cleaner (neat) for a carpet cleaning machine on it and it came out instantly

Failing that invest in a lot of pink felt tips and do the whole carpet.
