When things are broke when you buy them NEW

Options
I am so annoyed, We got our youngest a tiny robosapien for Christmas and we didn't realise it was supposed to walk as it never has.... so it has been broken from th moment we got it and now I am left trying to find one in my area.... he takes it to bed every night, So I cannot take it off him until I get a new one.
I am finding out they are like chickens teeth to get hold of now (well, in lincolnshire!)
Thanks Rant over ;D

We bought one of those Little Tikes kitchens for our little boy one Christmas (equal opps. and all that!) We decided to put it together on Christmas Eve so that it would be assembled and ready to play with straight away on Christmas morning.

When we came to put it together, the holes hadn't been cut out at all, so the bolts couldn't go where they were supposed to and the kitchen wouldn't fit together properly.

It ruined my Christmas coz he couldn't play with it then until they had sent a replacement. I was fuming. >:(

The thing was, he wasn't that bothered, he just played with the bits he could and then got even more excited when the replacement came! :) All turned out fine in the end - just disappointing when you are excited about giving them something.
