Selling a laptop

I recently won a newspaper competition and the prize was any laptop from Currys online - up to the value of £1000.

As I already own a good laptop I'd like to sell my prize for as close to the £1000 mark as possible. It will be as good as knew once sold on and will not have been reoved from the packaging.

Any advice?

I've never sold via ebay before and only have feedback for 5 purchases so that's probably not an option.

I know this may appear to go against the principles of money saving but if you knew the state of my bank balance you'd understand why I need to sell this for as much as possible. All help appreciated.
