I'm boycotting too starting off for a month and see what happens. If they don't allow coupons they'll need to bring prices down to get me back I think. I just haven't got the time to shop around as it's a long haul job to get there as it is for me0

started my boycott today! went to our market and got 20 bannanas for a quid
20 half sized orange sweet peppers £1
huge gag of new pots 50p
lovely big punnet of strawberries a pound.
large bag of fresh yummy grapes a pound
lovely crusty brown bread 70p etc etc
probably increased our families health by 500% all that lovely veg!
A beautiful gammon joint for £2.50
I stopped off at aldo to finish off
got change from £200 -
i too was most upset last night about the new no coupon unless you buy the product policy, and did wonder how i would manage, i only ever used about £15 tops of coupons each week but this allowed me to treat the kids to a few extras that i wouldnt usually buy.
now i will just have to think and work a bit harder, at trying to save money, this may mean hunting out the offers and travelling all over but im willing to do that, i do think that tescos will go back to some sort of policy, but it will be stricter IE a percentage shop, and no clubcard no coupon usage!;);)
hopefully all of us at MSE will now help each other all the more at saving money and hunting out bargains0 -
I was turned down for a 20p coupon from the tesco magazine friday - even though i bought the item. The SA thought it was funny, and the customer service desk refused to applogoise.
Oh, how i'm going to enjoy telling em where to stick their shopping0 -
I think i might be having coupon withdrawals!! lol
But no t's for me!Hello my name is nahteb20 and i am a T's Glitch & Bargainaholic.......0 -
well i'm quite glad asi it frees me from the drag to tescos, now I saunter round the market have a hazenut latte & home made cofe n walnut cake on the charity stall as a reward Then zap to aldi or lidl to finish off it costs about the same as using coupons at Tescos and stuff much fresher as grown locally not in timbuctoo!0

So let me get this right you used Tescos because you could use coupons to get money off , but now you cant use them you will all go elsewhere because your shopping is either
a) as cheap as Tescos when using the coupons or
b) cheaper then Tescos even when using coupons
Either way you have either saved money or saved time by not fart ar5ing around with bits of paper ..........whats the problem again?Vuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -
