Natwest bank statement does not show where the money come from

Options
hi, i have business account with lloyds and personal account with Natwest.
i transfered £80 from my lloyds business account to Natwest personal account on 25/sep/09. The money reached my Natwest account on 29/sep. when i checked the Natwest statement , it does not show where the money come from. Instead it display the date and BACS as type of transfer and the amount.
so i called the Natwest customer services and they said they have no idea and forward a complaint to the relevant department and said they will call me after week days.

Do any one have any idea why it is not displaying the name or reference where the money come from?
Due to some reasons , i need to show that i received that money from my business account and the bank statement has to reflect that transaction.
If natwest found that it is a mistake , can they alter the online statement by adding the name or reference?
so please advise me ...

Did you enter a reference on the outward payment?
  • I do not think that Nat West or any other bank would amend a statement entry after it has been passed.

Since you know what/where it came from what is the problem?
Nothing to stop you changing your copy of the statement with a biro.
  • yes, i did entered reference for outward payment. but still it does not show any thing..it just says BACS automated credit..
Even if i did not enter any reference on outward payment, it must show the name of person or company , who paid the money.

Due to some legal reasons, i need to produce the original bank statements for government authorities.. i just fed up with NATWEST....
  • That is not a problem then is it?
Just also show them the LTSB statement showing the transfer out to confirm the Nat West credit in.

At the end of the day if you are not happy then change banks.
