cut the plugs off his stuff! I did this in my first year to my house mate. She was so thick she didn't know how to re-wire a plug!!I run an event management company, I put on events, I go to events, if I don't know anything about events - its not worth knowing!:j:j:jNegotiate, Negotiate, and Negotiate again.:j:j:j0

I'd be even more angry about this slob not contributing to the bills than the loud music and noisy lovemaking. Sponger obviously thinks they're still living at home with Mum and Dad. I'd be taking some steps to rectify this before they move out even if it meant holding their possessions to ransom0

I find that a hammer is more effective than removing a fuse for disabling ghetto blasters. I wouldn't hesitate in this case.0

sorry to read of your problems.
i note that you are speaking with the landlord, I don't think you say whether you have spoken with your flat mates? Do they all agree he is being noisey and messy? Have you all tried speaking to said flatmate and letting him/her know how you all feel? What was the response?0 -
had a problem with a tenant myself (a friend of mine) - the tenant gave his 70 yr old dad loads of grief and wouldn't speak to him. my friend was on holiday when he got back me and my friend paid him a few visits, one at 4am with a air horn ( window open ground floor flat). We made his living a nightmare, no physical violence.
I would get a few of you and your flat mates together and chuck the fella out.0 -
