iTunes Gift Card

Last week I bought a £15 iTunes Gift Card from WHSmith using a discount voucher published in a newspaper. During the transaction the shop's till "went down" however I was assured it had gone through OK,
When I came to use the card a few days later the iTunes software informed me that the number hadn't been activated and I should return it to the point of purchase. I went back to the shop and they told me they couldn't refund iTunes purchases and I had to refer it to them (iTunes). After some arguing they telephoned Coinstar who are apparently the UK distributors of iTunes gift cards and they confirmed the number HAD been activated and I had to seek redress from iTunes directly.
I then emailed iTunes and they asked me to scan the card and my receipt and send them to them. I did as asked and they confirmed receipt of the scans. That was 4 days ago. I have emailed them twice since to ask what was happening, without reply.
Is there anything else I can do to get the amount credited to my account or a refund?

Probably best to hang on. Anything involving any sort of effort in Customer Services usually takes upwards of 5 working days to resolve. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

They just emailed me a new code. Maybe they monitor this site or, more probably, I'm not patient enough.0

Yesterday I bought two £15 itunes vouchers in Gamestation.
20 mins later I found them for £12 in Wilkinsons.
I took them into Gamestation who would not accept the refund on the vouchers with all my receipts etc..
Is that legal?
They quoted the small print T's & C's on the back of voucher saying no refunds etc.. but they never quoted this when I sold it I did not accepts these terms.
They told me they cant deal with it "in store" I have to take it up with itunes. Seems rather unfair to me I have to wait upwards of a week for something I bought 20 mins ago with my c card0 -

Yes, they are under no obligation to refund you unless there is something wrong with your purchase. This would be the case for any item bought in a shop Ts & Cs or not.0
