Help re ? fake Topshop Blazer

Hi all,

I bought a Topshop Blazer from ebay this week and it arrived yesterday.
It is supposedly a Topshop Premium Boyfriend Blazer which retails for £60- I am only looking on ebay for one as Topshop are not making black ones lany more.

Anyway it arrived yesterday and it looks really cheap, not at all Topshop quality. I haven't seen the black ones up close but have seen the grey ones in store and the material is totally different. This one seems all shiny and poor quality and the lining is kind of a bit see through.

So I'm not happy about it... the seller accepts returns, so should I just return it and not mention the questionable authenticity? Getting really fed up with Topshop fakes on ebay!!!

Thanks guys!

  • If it's counterfeit, you don't have to return it. I believe you need some sort of proof that it is fake though.

  • So could I conceivably take it into a store and ask them to confirm that it's fake?

theres a lot of fake river island jeans on ebay at the moment as well. I bought a pair that were indentical to a pair i had in a large size and when they arrived they were different type of material and very cheap looking.

I put in a dispute with paypal but had to return them.

Blimey, I cant believe people make fake topshop and river island goods. Thought they just did this for high end designers.

My thinking too Dave. Maybe the high street stores have started cutting corners and are using cheaper suppliers themselves?
