    Morning all! :santa2:
Loads of snow here in the night and this morning, but being the hardy Northern girl that I am, we managed to go about our business ;)

I'd just like to wish Hypno and all her disciples a very Happy and Peaceful Christmas, hope you all have a good restful break, Mac x

Question -Why am I on-line when I still have scads to do ?

Today's list Move tree (hoover needles) Put Christmas shop away (hoover more needles) Tidy (hoover the needles) Dress table for tomorrow (Hoover again) Run to corner shop for brandy as forgot to buy brandy butter-praying they haven't sold out (hoover the needles and kick self for wanting a real tree) Walk to high street to buy brandy as corner shop is bound to have sold out and remember to get lottery (hoover when I get back) Go online and do lottery as bound to forget when out (hoover and dust) log into work for 4 hours -wrap presents between calls -only calls if it's anything like yesterday will be people trying to set up wireless on laptops before Christmas day-finish wrapping pressies-fall asleep on sofa utterly knackered -wake up at 3am resist the urge to hoover and go to BED

Thanks for all the great advice, laughs and food for thought over the year Merry Christmas one and all !!

Today's list Move tree (hoover needles)...(hoover more needles)...(hoover the needles)...(Hoover again) etc.

I saw (on The One Show), that if you add a small capfull of bleach to the water you put your tree in, that it stops the tree shedding so many needles. Check out their website and see if they still have the report there.

    Merry needle-filled Christmas, Duchy!

I know it's a bit late to say, but we switched to the Nordmann firs, they really were a lot better on not losing needles. They are normally dearer, but we did find it worth it. Might be worth thinking about next year.

Right guys, this will probably be the last chance I get to be online before Christmas (Mum has plans for me this afternoon!), so this is just to say thanks to you all (especially Hypno!) for all the fun, (the parties! ;)) and the debt-busting advice this year. May your Christmas be magical and your start to 2010 bring you everything you could wish for yourself and your families. :T
