All those baby steps add up !
I was very naughty yesterday0 My laptop died several months ago and then I bought a crap one which I'm still fighting Comet over. I *do* earn less without a lappie as I need to use my work desktop for the MSE extra money stuff and I get to the point I'm sick of living at my PC desk (as my usual job is sitting at it too) and get demotivated so I bit the bullet and bought one with a nice spec from Dell yesterday (via Quidco of course :) ) Took most of my windfall but it WILL pay for itself over time so I'm trying not to feel guilty.

Hope it's a bit calmer at work today Hypno.

I set up BB before I go to work as I eat my breakfast. I tend to win most often if I am the first player registered I think.... Don't know if that helps. Tried that for this afternoon's games - I will let you know if I win!

duchy, my laptop is still dead.......thankfully OH is working most evenings this week, so I can pinch his without a problem, but it is becoming a nuisance. I def reckon that my laptop has paid for itself several times over, so if it IS dead beyond repair, then I too will look for a reasonably priced new one and see it as "expenses" :D

Trying for a NSD today. I have brought in some soup for lunch, and am trying to resist the urge to have my haircut on the way home.....maybe I'll just trim my fringe when I get home instead, and see if I can last another week or so - then I can get it cut properly before I go on holiday.....

I think if you follow your logic that you are doing multiple "jobs" then a laptop must be an allowable expense ! Sympathise re the haircut thing - it is always a dilemma isn't it! My roots have begun to show but really I want to wait until nearer xmas before I get my hair done! I am not as good as you - I have mine done regularly!

Would just like to add some 'lurker' thanks for the info about BB.

I only occasionally look at the diaries section of this board so only picked up on this today.... took your advice and won the full house on my first 2 games. £30 better off already!

I have withdrawn it as per advice here and am awaiting my joining bonus. Does it take some time for them to add it or should I have seen it straight away?

    Thanks again Hypno (and others)

Welcome the_cat and well done on the wins!!

The bonus £5 will appear tomorrow morning and you should receive £5 every day for 30 days.....I hope your luck continues! Do let us know :T

SH, I colour my hair myself, and it is quite successful, but I would love to be pampered in the salons that I used to frequent from time to time.......It is one of the things I do miss, but the cost was considerable, and I just cannot justify it.

When I am debt free, though.........then I will compromise with regular cuts at the lovely salon, but home colouring.

I am one of the least coordinated people on the planet - and have never coloured my own hair. Unfortunately I don't have family near enough to ask them to help and none of my friends colour their own hair either so kind of stuck!

We definitely need laptops...... and I *wish* I'd coloured my hair when it first started to go grey. If I did it now, I'd never hear the last of it.....
