Hi Hypno, glad you had a good weekend, commiserations on the weather.
I don't think you lose the £5 bonus if you don't play - mine just rolls over.
Well done on the win though! :T
Have a good day too x

    Good morning Hypno,

I joined BB and got my first win today, so only 15p down, but lots of time left.

Any suggestions of what to try next would be appreciated. Also what are scratchies? I was away from this thread for far too long:o

Anyway, I'd been accumulating tesco vouchers, and suddently clicked you can use them for service & MOT, so car is booked in for 2 weeks time, Tesco deals are ordered, and to make it even better while the car's being dealt with we'll go Christmas shopping and not have to pay for parking :)

Also treated ourselves to some Belle Italia deals, so will have a nice lunch with OH too :)

It's so nice when it feels like you're not spending 'real' money.

    Have a nice relaxing day

macgirl, I didn't realise the £5 could roll over - thank you!

se, if you join one of the st miniver sites, eg butlins bingo (there is a list of them on the gambling board), you can get a free daily scratchcard. Generally they pay out 10p a day, but sometimes more, and it all adds up. You can withdraw when it gets to £10. OH could have one too, but they don't like people with multiple accounts and they are not afraid of closing you down if you have more than one st miniver "group" account - so you choose whether you open up multiple accounts and risk being closed down, or just opening one and playing safe. Lots of reports of both - successful multiples, and those being closed down so your choice!

virgin bingo also do a scratchcard (although mine has said there is a problem with the server all weekend) and they often give 25p with a minimum withdrawal limit of £5 - lucielle won £500 on it a couple of weeks ago, so there IS the chance of winning more!

They are only small amounts normally, but do them every day, and they add up - and of course are "free" money!!

I am saving my clubcard vouchers for a year of eating out and nice family trips next year - 2010 will be the year we feel as though we have some sort of a "life" :rotfl:

We used to use Tesco's for meal out treats, but eldest DS is 'up north' for a while, and there are some really nice and cheap Indian and Chinese restaurants, so we get better value by using the deals for other things at the moment, but I am looking forward to Belle Italia with OH as we normally only go out for meals when we meet up with the DS's.

It sounds like the end of 2009 isn't going to be too bad with your holiday, so it's a nice early start to your new life in 2010 :)

Thanks for the info on the scratchies etc.. I'll start looking into it. I'll start with just me for a while, but we've set up seperate current a/c's so OH can have a go if he wants to later. When we just had one joint a/c it probably looked more dubious!!

£7.50 from BB this morning - all amounts gratefully received!

Banking showed nothing going in or out today, so that will do, and scratches gave 20p today.

Just need to wake up now!

Hi there! Glad the hypnettes did well, and that was a good idea to have a day off today - as you say, lets you catch your breath. I like the sound of being curled up with the lappie
