Cheap spring bulbs?

I'm after loads of spring bulbs as garden has been redone recently and there's nothing in there for spring. Can anyone recommend somewhere to get CHEAP bulbs in bulk please?

Mine turned up today! Interesting selection, however all the bulbs are good quality but tiny - even the tulips are crocus sized, so I'm thinking these will be better in pots than in the ground?
  • me too mine turned up will have to get a library book to identify what they will look like. can't wait to see them in spring - any suggestions on recycled type containers to grow them in?

The supermarkets sell black tall bins that their flower bunches came in. I don't like them very much; that's just me, but they are useful for cheap bulbs etc. Morrisons always have them, about 6 for £1 and Asda too. At the moment there are Agapanthus flowering in one pot - very strange. And they are pink when I bought blue!

Lots of the bulbs on crocus.co.uk are half price now - good if you want more unusual bulbs - never ordered so not sure of the quality/size
