Remove hair dye from gloss bathroom panel?

I love my bathroom, but annoyingly got a dribble of hair dye down a gloss white panel  I have a built-in toilet and the hair dye is on the panel above it - where the flush is.
The obvious solution is to pay for a new panel - its not that big - but I dont want to go back to the company that installed it as I fell out with them big time.
Have tried various cleaning products and nail varnish remover....but no joy....probably sealed it in now!
Hoping someone has a genius idea?! PLEASE?!

Hairspray may work but if you've tried nail varnish remover maybe not? I did get some off using a kitchen sponge with a scratchy side, just very gently. Only problem is that you'll lose the shine too *if* it comes off.0
