Yes, the avatar is a bit of giveaway :D

so mr dj, how about I flog you some of my vintage vinyl to add some retro vibe to your sets :rotfl:

You'd be amazed at the variety.

Do you actually have cats or just like them ?

Last year I went to an RSPCA open day & came home with a skinny scraggy black stray with a manky tail who has grown into a curvy long haired, glossy coated beast with a tail like a squirrels.

His favourite trick is catching mice & putting them in his bowl, his second one is using my lappie to rub his cheeks ... black fur on white lappie

I've seen some 78s in my parents loft which I tried to mix once, they didn't work as the vinyl centre hole is very different hahahaha. The Shadows and house music didn't really work too well anyway.

No I don't have a cat, rented accomodation and live on 3rd floor so not practical. Do prefer cats to dogs though. Less maintenance, eat less, sh*t less and they don't slobber everywhere.

  • I went to my mums yesterday and she had found a drawer full of my dads stuff. driving licences, fusilier medals, letter showing his wages when he was a T2a for the GPO. school reports belonging to me and my brother and more.
Post office books so I am tracing the old accounts to see if any money was left in them so I can give to my mum.

then I went to flixton to my brothers and went to costco with him and bought some kirkland cat food, pizza and coffee. I stayed in last night as I was feeling a bit rough and tired, funny throat and slight headache. Still got it today. Today went into bury, got some washer jets for the car and two sets of pjamas from primark.

Off tomorrow to put some money in the bank to pay off a lot on my credit card.

I'm feeling pretty rubbish. My cold has got worse, not better and I've now got ear-ache which makes me feel about 7 years old again. I'll have to go out with cotton wool in my ears!

I was supposed to go to an art gallery with my friend yesterday but felt so ill I cancelled. So he came over to my flat instead and we stayed in with my flatmate. She cooked dinner and we drank a ton of wine and then when we'd drunk all the wine we moved onto G&T's.

Fun night though and cheered me right up.

If I feel this bad tomorrow i think I'm going to call in sick which I don't like doing but I feel awful!

I'm also overdrawn already and payday isnt' til 20th

still I've plenty of food in the house and no plans for this week so should be ok more or less!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
  • Hey All, hope you had a good weekend.

My feet haven't really touched the ground since I went back to work. Was working yesterday and ended up doing 12 hours. Then got a call this morning asking me to cover the 3-11 shift today. I am fed up of sick people! who on earth suddenly decided that if people have colds, they need to see a doctor???

Only 65 days til i go on holiday, thank god.

Diet is going ok - good thing about keeping busy is less time to eat!

Aww makeup im always in my overdraft every month. thankfully i been keeping below the limit I dont get paid till 28th but getting that money is helping somewhat. just got myself some pyjamas from primark today for £7.50 (two lots of).
Im not feeling too ill, but just feel odd as if a cold is starting.
Im going to a 21st on 5th feb so looking forward to that. But my social life has been zilch for over a year. Friends who I thought were friends have ditched me cause I cant afford to go out.
Have to find ways to make more friends who dont forget you when they get a partner.
